The Idea — A fan who doesn't exist, on a trip everyone recognizes

Günther Strewitz is the German away fan everyone has met: moustache, black cap, a denim vest covered in patches, white socks in sandals. In summer 2026 he follows his team to the World Cup in the USA and posts the trip the way real fans do. Shaky selfies, diner breakfasts, long highway drives, sports bars, euphoria and heartbreak.

The guerrilla idea: no campaign, no brand stage. Just a character living in the feed in real time, on the road from Houston via Galveston, New Orleans and Nashville to New York, Washington and Philadelphia.

The Character — Consistency is the real craft

A recurring character only works if he is unmistakably the same person in every post, every location and every light. Günther was built as a trained identity in Higgsfield, with character sheets for each outfit. His travel companion Erwin and the cars along the way, a yellow Camaro and a pickup truck, were built the same way. Every still and every clip draws from that one set, so face, outfit and props hold across eighteen days of content.

Production — Eighteen days, daily output

Everything was produced in Higgsfield. Soul for portraits of Günther on his own, multi-reference image models whenever he had to stand in a real, recognizable place or in a crowd, Seedance and Kling for motion. Each day had its own shot list, drafts and finals, then edit, sound and posting, on a social rhythm instead of a production schedule.

Realism — Amateur on purpose

The enemy was the polished AI look. Every frame was pushed towards phone footage: imperfect framing, handheld shake, flat dynamic range, visible skin texture, light that matches the place. Günther had to look like he took the picture himself, not like a render.
